Luckily, I've found a coffee cone, so that won't be necessary. It was close, though.

Do you have a funnel, or something like it? Because in a pinch you can grind the beans, put them in a coffee filter, and put the filter in a funnel, and then just pour boiling water over top of that. It's better if you have something with a smaller opening (like something that's actually designed for making coffee in that way), but the funnel might work ok while you're waiting for your package. I mean, it is surely better than being coffeeless, which is perhaps a fate worse than death.

Exactly, on both accounts. Plus the fact that even in First World countries there are still stigmas attached to mental health issues. Writing from a FW perspective about a really challenging issue in Third World nations is . . . missing the mark.
