I have been avoiding writing this post for over two months, it is a new year and time that I finally write it.

The week of crown Hannah became very sick...  we took her to the vet to discover that she had an auto-immune disease where her own immune system was attacking her blood cells.   There is only one treatment and it either works or it doesn'

Ohh, I'm sorry Lisa. Had I been more together and thoughtful, Hannah might have had a home with me when she first showed up in our lives - I had time with her at Homeport though, and she was totally wonderful there (though had a weird habit of licking the mattress on my bed - never did figure that out).

I am so sorry. There are few things in my life that I've experienced that were harder than losing one of my dogs. You have my deepest sympathies.
