After a very long boring christmas season with very little work, I have suddenly gotten busy again.  This is a very good thing for my wallet and my attempting to be a contributing member of society.  Or something.  I have a new client that I take photos for regularly and I even have a freelance job lined up for this Sunday!   It sucks to work

I went from cursing turbotax for lulling me into a false sense of tax skillz all these years and thinking that I owed over $3K, to finding a reasonable accountant who lowered that number immensely and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. Whew!

Seriously? $3K? Yikes O_o My mother insists on doing mine for me, but it always comes back to bite me in the arse when I get a bill from the IRS later. And there were 2 or 3 years in Japan when I forgot to file (didn't owe anything, but still). Ugh.
