Every time I go clothes-shopping, I feel violated by the fashion world. The prices are in the realm of the fantastical (90 bucks for a skirt, WHAT), the styles either impractical or boring, the sizes always too big or too small. THE NERVE OF THEM TO MAKE CLOTHES NOT TAILORED SPECIFICALLY TO ME ( Read more... )

I love cute clothes (I am an arteeest) but I HATE CLOTHES SHOPPING. Oh, the dilemmmaaaa. ;___;

I love the filler AND the Night Silver pages. X3; *TOTALLY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM* Another two cents in the Svetlana's overflowing ego jar! XD (Someday, SOMEDAY compliments will be used as money! Damn capitalist society! XD)

Oh, I FINALLY @#$% found Cosmo!GIRL (NONE of the stores I usually go to carry it, I had to go to some nowheresville Wal-Mart >__<), but it's one of the later issues... >___w>; (I'm already filling out the reader survey to flood their office with, LOL ( ... )

Oh, apparently the angle bracket faces ate half my message. XD;

Which one's the issue your strips start? I'm planning on finally ordering back issues/subscribing and talking to the rep about how I totally love The Adventures of CG! and how the artist seems incredibly underpaid for the quality of their work. <~~ sentence originally stuck somewhere in there))

I believe August 2005 was the premier of The Adventures of CG. The one with Ashlee Simpson on the cover.

Not that I went to the store and bought a chick magazine, or showed the comic to the cashier after standing there for a few minutes flipping through said chick magazine to be certain that said comic was actually in that issue, or paid money on a 230 page magazine just for two of those pages.

Nor will I be wandering back to that store to find the next issue here soon.

=)

John, John, don't sell yourself short--people might think you're not man enough to buy a girly magazine twice XD

Feel happy you can find nice clothes in your size, and that you don't have to pay through the nose (always) to get them. Being a 3XL (Big AND tall) You usually have to pay an extra $3.00 or More!! Those 3.00 really Add up. The only shirts that don't cost more are to fruit of the loom ones you see folded in the Mens Section of your Department store of Choice. So being smaller is definitely better than being big and tall. Enjoy it! ^__^

I will enjoy it only the day when clothes-shopping is completely pain-free!! But yes, I'm luckier than some. ...Which only goes to show the sad sad state of it all XD
I've been to specialty stores for big and tall--the prices there are decent, I thought. At least, it makes more sense to me to pay a $100 for a skirt that uses twice the amount of fabric than a similar skirt, but in the 'skinny and short' store, sold at the same price. yikes! XD

I suppose one hand washes the other... or How the Fashion Spectrum is not a spectrum, but indeed a cricle. For the Big and Tall Pay more, the Short and Skinny Pay more, but the Tall and Skinny and Short and Big pay normal Prices... I think I smell a Conspiracy, or a New clothing line... hmm...

Man, do I ever know what you are talking about. Half the time, I end up buying clothes in the kids' section because I can't find things that fit me. (I'm very very small...) The womens' section is totally hit or miss depending on who makes the clothes- and the size markings are totally random, it seems.
