um, oh god. i am suddenly overcome with all this emotion and nostalgia (and a bit of bitter RAGE) because they had so much potential and of course it was all shot to hell.

but really, thank you for doing this. and now i'm going to sit and cry about merlin/gwen and the lovestory that could have been some more.

The Dragon would all, "But destiny!" And Merlin would be all, "I'm not going to break up with my girlfriend so she can date Arthur or whatever strange thing it is you want." And Arthur would be like, "Merlin's got a girlfriend, Merlin's got a girlfriend!" And Morgana would do Gwen's hair before dates. (She wouldn't do it very well, since knowing how to do hair is more Gwen's thing, but she would try her best and Gwen would wear her efforts with pride.)

It would be so fluffy.
