Question:

I got a speeding ticket in Seattle for a fine of $91 U$. Do I, as a Canadian citizen, have to pay this fine? Will this affect my traffic records in Canada? Will I have my driver's license suspended if I don't pay? I hope someone out there can help me with these questions. THANKS!

my ex got a ticket in NY for $100 some odd dollars but he didn't pay it and it didn't effect his driving record or anything thus far...

yah, a friend of mine got one in NY and didn't pay either. But the cop told me if I don't pay, my driver's license will be suspended. Not sure if I should take the chance..my record is clean!!

haha.. he's probably just saying that cuz he wants you to pay. they can't suspend your license over a ticket in the States ... :P

but if you're worried, best thing is to do the right thing and pay right...
