I might be making a deal with Matt to make payments on the 87 TII RX-7. So I will hopefully have a nice, shiny, and very fast car soon. Wish me luck ya'll
RX-7's produce much more than 100hp to the wheels. S4 RX-7's (86-88) make 146hp and S5 RX-7's (89-91) make 160hp. The turbo S4's make 182hp and the turbo S5's make 200hp. Now lets compare this to the Miata. The 90 Miata (the first year) producs 116hp and the 95 MX-5 makes 133hp. The 95 RX-7 makes 255hp. I don't know who told you those numbers, like RX-7's making less than 100hp to the wheels, but it's much higher than that. I could not find any stock turbo Miatas, but I did find kits, which don't even count for this. But I think the only thing a turbo Miata could beat is maybe a Del-Sol or a CR-X. And any other ricer-civics. You were right about that. And yes, TII is the name for the turbo model.

TII....I'm assuming that that's the turbo one, considering that you said it's fast. :P
The non-turbo mostly have under 100hp to the ground, probably to the flywheel, too. x.x; Which explains why a Miata would smoke one.
Unless it was a turbo Miata. Those would smoke a lot of things. Like stupid ricer Civics. >:P
