I'm not dead. I just don't do anything worth writing about.

And I'll get to Facebook, ok? I just...don't care...I keep in touch with the people I want to keep in touch with via emails and phones and face to face contact, like a real person.

One of my coworkers said today, "Jenny, when you're doing Patrick's laundry, does he-"

And I put and end that ( Read more... )

Don't you just *love* Netflix?! (I use the Blockbuster version, but it's basically the same thing.) I can finally watch all my nerdy specialty documentaries and foreign films that the library doesn't carry! Wahoo ( ... )

I have to agree with Ruth that Netflix is really great. We just started using Netflix about a month ago and I am amazed at the selection. I'm looking forward to catching up on all the old movies that I've only seen part of because I tuned in mid-movie when they were on TV.

Lorna Doones were my Mom's favorite cookie when I was growing up. I haven't had any in quite a while but I always loved them (...after Oreos of course). I've never tried them with tea though. I may have to buy some to have with my Earl Grey.

Hey... about that ho-hum theatre season, I have a solution, sort of. I have wormed my way onto the play selection committee at WCT. We are in the final stages of putting together next season's line up (...which I think is pretty good). If you have any great ideas for the upcoming seasons after that, pass them my way. I'll do all the leg-work and present them to the committee if you wish. I don't have a lot of depth of knowledge when it comes to great plays and would encourage some input from my more knowledgeable theatre

DO HIS LAUNDRY?!? You are not a wife. I am a wife and I do not do my husband's laundry. I got him to do that by NEVER DOING HIS LAUNDRY! I do my own laundry, he does his. I pay my bills, he pays his. We don't even have a joint checking account.

I told him I will only be a Housey Goodewyfe if I can do it for my full-time job instead of this computer malarkey.

Oh, and in regards to OCMS... they still sound old to me, but more 60's or 70's. Think Dolly and Loretta's giant hair and blue eyeshadow. It also sounds like they had better production on this album.
