I've been looking up ticket prices at various sites that claim to be cheap, for a visit to both Denver and Vegas around the holidays. 4+ sites all gave me the exact same minimum price option, and priceline was higher than the rest by close to $400. Get real, priceline, I probably won't even bother to check your prices next time

Shrug - it probably depends on where you're going. My flight to Nashville, which was bought quite late for a holiday ticket, was cheapest on priceline.

I noticed the recently too. I actually ended up finding the best deal on my flight directly from the Southwest website. Yay holiday travel!

From what I've seen, the only way to get a good deal from priceline is to do the name your own price thing....although I've never actually tried that, so I don't know if you can get a good deal that way either.... :-) My fav travel site is www.sidestep.com, they search many different travel sites all at the same time including southwest.com and jetblue.com, i've found many good deals this way
