Cillian Murphy again!
He's back to bad guy form in Tron: Legacy though the role is really small. I actually thought there would be more scenes with him in it.

What is it this year in movies? Tron is all about the Grid and how it has expanded while Flynn is stuck in limbo... ooops I mean the Grid for 20 years. Of course Flynn has a God complex, fully intent on reshaping the Grid to be a utopia. And of course Flynn's wife is long dead so all he has to go home for is his son, except he got himself a surrogate daughter in the Grid. And of course time passes more quickly in the Grid compared to the real world, in fact a thousand cycles have passed in the Grid since Flynn got stuck down there. And the lightcycles race around in a grid-like maze that goes up and down various levels, while Users are being chased around by Programs.
And of course they had to use that line "End of Line" every time a kill is about to happen - I was half expecting the Cylon hybrid to go crazy while the lights flicker onscreen.
Not a bad film (the soundtrack made me feel absolutely nostalgic - Daft Punk!). It takes me to my wee youth.
