Turns out the secret is eating less and exercising more. Who knew?

So, actually what I'm bringing up is a subject that has long plagued me and which I have said time and again I was going to do something about, only to NOT do anything about it once my initial anger/aggravation/depression/whatever ran out: lose weight.

Good luck and YAY for losinf 5 lbs.

Guess I should not have left extra cookies on Subday night.. hopefully Tory and you mom ate them so you would not be tempted.

Dude. I ate it, and it were delishus. But I wrote it down and refrained from getting bad things at Starbucks. So it was a doubly-good thing.

I'll try and send you at least one e-mail a week to try and help out. Plus look at it this way, you ate two Ken Cooklies and STILL lost 5 lbs. the rest should be easy =)

No, I don't; but you're welcome to come bike riding with me. The heat's not so bad if you know that you can go jump in the river at any time. Speaking, of, some work colleagues and I are gonna go play in the river at Discovery Park this Sunday. Wanna come along? It'll be in the morning, since we all have to work that night shift.

Before, I used the outside temperature as one of my easy excuses to not ride my bike, so even if I show up to work drenched in sweat with my makeup running down my cleavage, I'm still doing it. Just to be obstinate. GRR!

I've lost some weight [still weigh too much] - and am doing it by limiting grams of fat I eat. This is hard - because fat is in -so- much stuff, but ...

... it means I'm gnoshing on pretzels and chex mix instead of chips now [big difference in grams, there]; I snack on cookies that are low fat [mostly home made = replacing butter/margarine with apple sauce or yogurt works very well in - respectively - spice or chocolate chip cookies] ...

So maybe that advice will help? Otherwise - good job and don't stress over it. ^_^

Luckily, snack foods are not my problem. My problem is that I'm a glutton; I can totally sit down and eat an entire pot of spaghetti or flat of brownies on my own. So I'm working with portion sizes along with better foods, and it's amazing - my stomach doesn't hurt anymore XD
