I don't have really conventional tastes in men, I guess, since Russell Crowe is supposed to be so hot but doesn't do anything for me. Nevertheless I'm watching Oprah's Oscars show (too exhausted to do anything of use, not quite ready to sleep, that's my excuse), and Nicole Kidman asked Crowe, "What was the most significant kiss of your life?" And ( Read more... )

it's a good deal for a good brand and the shipping was fast. i think i bought some teas to go along with it.

ooh, that is a good brand and good price. thanks for the info. how's it working for you? still dizzy?? i'm still thinking the sam-e is doing good stuff for me, but it's not doing what i wish it would at the moment, just blot out my unhappiness about my job, breakup, and general sense of failing-at-life. *sigh*. that does sound like depression talking, or it could just be a call from the goddess to get off my petootie and find me a better set of life circumstances.....

i just had those dizzy spells that one day, so i'm thinking maybe it wasn't related. i'm taking one of the the source naturals in the morning now, which is the equivalent of two of the walgreens brand (400 mg), but then i started adding one of the walgreens tablets in the mid-afternoon before work (200 mg) to give a little boost -- because i felt like i was doing well all morning, and then in the later afternoon i'd start to have the 'sinking feeling again'. this new strategy seems to be working pretty well ( ... )

hey, thanks for your message. depression is such a strange thing. it is hard to sort it out from what appear to be its cousins -- sadness, grief, anxiety, ennui, existentialitis.... i can never rely on those little tests psychologists (and others) use that say "are you less interested in life than usual? do you feel sad more often? have you lost your sense of satisfaction" because i've never really had those things, so it's more a matter of degree. i'm gonna try to get some work done. what you said about scheduling and bargaining with yourself makes sense to me -- sort of like what (good) parents do to get a kid through a rough patch. sending you solidarity! m
