Demanding a detour.

On my way back (to my northern) home through the southern portion of the Humboldt Redwoods, the avenue of the giants. Nothing too spectacular to be conveyed given the light lacking deep within the forest floor.

I'd say that was spectacular. Utterly breath-taking.

Being there felt spectacular. It's just difficult to gauge how well I did them justice, at times.

Welcome back.

The forest is beyond superlatives like spectacular, I reckon. You did it justice just fine.

Beautiful. I went through the Avenue of the Giants... well, the one on old 101, at least... a few years ago. I wonder what it would be like now, knowing the forest better as I do.

I'm sure it's the same Avenue of the Giants. You should definitely go back. With the knowledge you've gained and new perspectives, I'm sure the sensory overload would be particularly intense. I'd enjoy reading a writeup on it, because I know how difficult it is for me to harness the brainstorming in my own head.
