monday i go in to have a doctor check out the lump i found 13 days ago. stats and family history say i'll be fine but there's still 10% doubt and that doubt hurts.
Lump? In your breast? And it took 13 days to see a doctor? Is that because of your schedule or theirs? I'm glad you're seeing a doctor and not ignoring it. I have had a LOT of patients who found *something* *somewhere* and ignored it until it was eating them alive and then they were suddenly full of regret. Take care of your body. :)
Also keep in mind that a LOT of women (myself included) have super-fibrous breasties and have all kinds of lumps and bumps that mean nothing. Of course, always better to have them checked out to be sure (I have routine ultrasounds and such).
i found it just before i got my period, that's why i waited, then i have to find a clinic in the middle of nowhere wisconsin b/c i have no insurance. thanks for the concern and *hugs*
*augh* It makes me so sick that no one seems to have insurance over there. If I could kidnap you and marry you if only for medical insurance, I would. :/
