Yes, abuse of power is bad. Yes, wanting to fire a librarian over a political disagreement is bad, but the underlying nature of that political disagreement is also worthy of some media attention. Sarah Palin wanted to ban books.

Heh. I suspect that there are quite a few McCain insiders who are just as baffled as the rest of us. One thing is clear now: If the plan was to peel away Clinton supporters from the Democratic base, then the plan has failed. Obama reached 50% (50-42) for the first time today and the choice of Palin seems to make former Clinton supporters LESS likely to vote for McCain. It's almost as if Democratic voters care more about policy than gender. Who would have guessed?

Not ME! I KNOW that you can't trust women with something as complex as politics. It is not their fault, for their sweet, simple little brains just are not wired for it. Only MEN (and more specifically REAL MEN) have the ability to make truly TOUGH decisions, like about abortion, elections, and even who should marry whom.
