Bloodlines and Tribe

My birthday was the end of May. My friend and co-worker -M got me two gifts; one was "the funny one" she said, and the other a bit more serious. The "funny" one was a life sized resin sheep, which I found standing on my desk the morning after Memorial Day, when I came into work. I find the Genographic study so fascinating, and I've been toying around with doing it myself. I think I'll do it in the next year. It would be fascinating information, although I too wish it didn't stop at 10000 years.

Thank you for sharing your history, I find it so interesting. The writerly part of me loves to hear people's stories, where they came from, who helped to shape them and how.

I hope that you have a happy homecoming with the boys today.

I'm always glad to open LJ and find you have posted. This one has a slightly lonely flavor to it. Your genetic heritage is so interesting. I'm thinking I may need to save to have my own done, but then I think of other things I need to be saving for...we'll see. Meanwhile, it's good to get the nest straightened, the shopping done, the meals lined up. Life intrudes soon enough and all the preparations so appreciated.
