Samhain

So Mars, the god of war has been riding high these past few days, on the stinging tail of the Scorpio Moon, and Mercury is retrograde. It's no small wonder I feel like I'm moving through jello. Moody, malcontent easily provoked, nasty, out for blood and not happy about not getting it. So how's that different from the norm, you ask, not so brightly ( Read more... )

Beautifully created, magically sculpted, wonderfully written. The story is magnificent. The creation was inspired. The reality of the event defies description. From the introspection of the bone-times to the deeper connection of the Dumb Supper and then the words and magic of the rest of it. I'm still grabbing at was was and what was perceived. For some reason the roll call of the dead was the most moving roll call I've yet heard. I don't know why...There is so much to process, so much more to learn. I turn bits and pieces of it on and off like a movie projector. I am only able to deal with small bits at a time yet.
And now I know that I will need to re-read this piece many times to help me savor all that was, all that is, all that I imagine will come....

The womb of my mother Gaia was indeed a profound birthing place...the tribe of my heart, Gaias' Womb does indeed change lives.

Love, a rather speechless
Holly

Words to describe..better make sure I have a thesaurus handy....

Over a month has gone by and my mind is still drawn back to the sounds of the wind and the rain on the buildings....the way the Tribe's voices lifted in song and mixed with the words from the Guardians at their stations.

The honor and connectedness that I felt while serving those in my tribe a meal.

This Samhain was an amazing experience, and I thank you for asking me to be a part of it.
