awww swan. that is what you are supposed to be able to do in a journal - vent. if it were me, i would go ahead and try to find a vet closer to you. that way, god forbid, if something were to happen or you would need something, you would already have a vet set up close to you.

Hrm. I'd take Herbert to the vet you know, but call ahead to make sure they can see you. If not, at least ask them for advice on a local vet.
