Looks like a great book, it's got all 5 star reviews on Amazon. Unforuntely it's not out in paperback over here until Jan, and there's no copies in my library. There's no way i can afford the hardback at the moment.

Yea, I can't get the hardcover either. But, I was lucky to have it at my library. I would keep checking the library because it only came on in October of this year.

Awesome! I read like crazy too. I just finished this book a couple of weeks ago. And it looks like we got it the same way! I saw it and almost bought it one day...and then saw it recommended by Stephanie and went back and picked it up, lol. I really liked it, although I have no idea where she's going to take things from here. It was surprisingly gory for a teen book I thought, but not so much that it turned me off of reading it or anything. :)

It is about a country that is broken up into districts and at one point all the districts were in war. The district that won was the Capital and now they rule all the other districts. So now, every year, the Capital require all of the other districts to send two people to partipate in the Hunger Games. The participants are between the ages of 12-17 and they have to fight until they are the last one alive. This book follows a 16 year old girl as she competes in the games. I'm not usually into gory book and at times it is pretty gory, I really loved this book. I would definitely suggest you read it.
