So, I am finally back.  Well late Monday evening I got back.  For the past two weeks I was in Germany visiting friends and family I hadn't seen in nearly 4 years.  Throughout middle school and high school I stayed almost every summer with friends or family in Fulda, Germany.  But I have not been back since I have been in college because of time and ( Read more... )

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Glad you had a good time. That church looks amazing. You've got a big family. I only have about 9 people in mine at the most.

You can speak fluent German? My dad is italian and i can say words in italian but i can't put a sentance together. It's quite embrassing actually, i must learn.

Glad you had a great time.

I did have a great time thanks. It is always so sad when I have to leave.

Yes, my family is rather large sometimes it drives me nuts but I do miss them when I not around them.

Yeah, my mom taught all of children German and I also have a minor in it but I think the only time it will be useful is when I am with fam.

You really need to go if you get a chance. It is so beautiful! If you ever do get a chance make sure you tell me and I will tell you some places you could visit.

Oh I love cruises, I love swimming in a pool in the middle of the ocean!

Aw, your pictures are awesome. And your trip sounds like it was fantastic, I'm glad you had a great time. I'm rather jealous, as I haven't been to Europe yet. But I'm hoping to go next summer to study abroad! One of my professors is German, she's always talking about how amazing the country is - she says the mead is to die for. :P

The DOD, eh? Department of Defense? What are you majoring in, if you don't mind my asking? I'm doing International Politics and I thought about working for the government but I think I'd rather work for an IGO or NGO or something. Haha, I'm such a school nerd.

Germany is wonderful, I am so lucky to be able to go. You are right the beer is great! I love going to breweries.

I am a Math Education major with a German minor. I want to work in a DOD school. I know, not some super cool job, but I always wanted to be a teacher and I love traveling so why not.

I am a school nerd too. I think even after I graduate I will keep taking a class or two at a time. I just can't imagine not being in school.
