7. "The body never lies."
Martha Graham
She knows what she is. Oh, of course the rebirth has robbed her of most of her reason (has turned her into a monster) but deep down there is still a part of her that is aware of everything, that is aware of what she has become… And hates it.
She’s evil, pure and simple, a horrible stain, an ugly blot on the world… She taints everything around her just by looking at it. She kills with a touch and is a hazard to everything good and proper- to everything that should be.
The body never lies you see- before she could hide her darkness; even from herself she could lie that she was still alive, still good deep down no matter what acts she committed- she was still blonde; still lovely and fresh. Such a face couldn’t commit evil.
But now even her body is against her- now even her body shows what’s inside.
The body can’t lie after all; she had her years looking like a angel but now she is broken- now her form shows her true self.
So she might as well behave like a demon; her body says it’s so after all- and bodies never lie.
She is a monster, and although she can’t be proud of it she can accept it.
