And a proposed change in immigration rules would mean anybody applying for British citizenship would have to be "of good character".

What does that mean (doesn't that seem vague)?

What does "of good character" mean to you?

Because you know it's those pot heads that are inciting terrorism..

Speaking of which, given that the goal of terrorism is to incite fear, crippling a country from the inside, wouldn't that mean that the war on terror should really be fought more at home, and instilling a country's unity and faith in it's self rather than going off to fight a war?

hey im just answering your question.

im not big on debates regarding war,
because i see them as pointless.
assassinations done correctly solve the same problems
with significantly less death.
i dont want a war coming over here,
because then i would have to flee the country.

Oh well for the first part I was being sarcastic and as for the second I wasn't suggesting we fight a war over here, I'm just saying that to fight against terror it makes more sense to unify a country and help them feel secure than to send their army someplace else.

My definition of the phrase "of good character" would be hard to write without a huge, drawn out explanation of my own morals and ethics. But I assume that in legal-ese "of good character" would have to mean someone who is without a criminal record.
