yeah, I meant reinstall. It was baaad, man.
My computer's clean now...just clean. Kinda like a place after a nuke's hit. Nice and clean...

Do you have a windows.old folder, by any chance?

Even if you don't there are services that supposedly can recover stuff (esp. since your hard drive isn't physically hosed like mine was) in such situations. If you intend to employ such a service, it might be good to not use the computer too much in the meantime...

Eh, apparently the windows.old folder only contains:

- Documents and Settings
- Program files
- Windows

So your files would have had to have been in Documents and Settings. Still, I suppose it's worth checking.
