*Soundtrack of My Life
Stolen from blueeyebeauty
If your life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
NO CHEATING

Opening Credits: "Vs. Scratch" by The Roots
Um. It's a one and a half minute long song featuring drumming and someone who appears to be making scratching sounds with his voice. It probably could work well as an opening credit theme.

First Day At School: "Yuri-G" by PJ Harvey
Oh, hell yes. I have no idea what it's about, but it sounds good.

Falling In Love: "Me and My Baby" from the Original Revival Cast of Chicago
The first showtune rears its ugly head. Kind of hilarious. Kind of really hilarious.

Fight Song: "She's Lost Control" by Joy Division
Dark! Broody! Lyrically doesn't really fit, but pretty good otherwise. It's more like...Murder Scene Song, though.

Breaking Up: "I'm Still Your Fag" by Broken Social Scene
Ha!

Prom: "One Night Only" from the Live Concert Recording of Dreamgirls
The title seems kind of appropriate, but with a showtune there's only so much of it that'll really fit. Y'know? Y'all know.

Life's OK: "Summer Babe [Winter Version]" by Pavement
Sure.

Mental Breakdown: "Giga Dance" by Deerhoof
PERFECT.

Driving: "One More Night (Your Ex-Lover Remains Dead)" by Stars
The first time I ever really heard this song was when Christi and I were driving to Grand Rapids to see Sam, so I think it's appropriate.

Flashback: "You Can Fall" by Broadcast
This one's pretty appropriate, actually. Kind of dark and dreamy. Who the fuck knows what it's about though. Haven't the time!

Getting Back Together: "Oh Well, Okay" by Elliott Smith
.......I...I guess the title kind of works.

Wedding: "Disorder" by Joy Division
What the fuck, iTunes? Maybe it's a post-punk wedding?

Birth of Child: "Irony Of It All" by The Streets
Well, yeah. Why do I have The Streets on my computer?

Final Battle: "The Nausea Before the Game/Love Me For What I Am" from the Original Cast Recording of In Trousers
Honestly, I think that this one fits quite well within the context.

Death Scene: "Champs" by Wire
Huh. I really like this song, but it just makes me wonder how I'm dying in this movie? This song is like, car flying off of bridge/heroin overdose in Scotland or something.

Funeral Song: "<--" by Andrew Bird
Aw. This is kind of a sad funeral song. Pretty, though. I like it.

End Credits: "Go Where You Wanna Go" by The Mamas and The Papas
And then it turns into like, Now and Then. This song is really pretty, though. I can see it as end credits.
