Allana snatches her hand back from the fruit she was cutting up. She sticks her (barely) bleeding finger in her mouth and glares at the knife she had been using.

"Stupid knife. Stupid fruit."

Leia bounces over.

"Whatcha doooing?"

She shoves herself into Allana's personal space. Leia is not allowed to be near knives and is very interested. :|

Allana boggles at the girl and frowns. It's definitely her grandmother. Who is what? Eleven?

This place freaks her out still.

"Uhm, bleeding."

[rebelapprentice]

"Gross," she observes. "Were you in battle?"

[youstumble]

"No, I was just...never mind." Allana sighs. "Fruit?"

Vader glares disapprovingly, the way he always does.

"Careless," he remarks, "unbefitting a Jedi."

[youstumble]

So's your face probably isn't the thing to say to Darth Vader. She just frowns up at him instead.

With her finger still in her mouth.

Vader shakes his head.

"Your insolence is almost palpable."

[youstumble]

"Is it tasty?"

"Hey... kid."

It sounded awkward from him, now, but somehow it felt right.

"...hey." Allana lowers her hand and stares up at her father. He's so young and it's weird.

"What's wrong?" He began fidgeting (something he hadn't done since he was a teenager), his fingers picking at the hems of his jacket sleeves.

"Cut myself with the knife I was trying to cut fruit with." She kicks the chair in front of her out.

"You can sit, if you want."
