Arashi Rant

One of the rare times I'm ranting here. Allow me because there is FIERY ANGER within me!
Anyone who lives in Singapore go grab a copy of U-mag and flip to page 24-25.
The feature is [2008 Summer 10 Japanese Dramas].
As anticipated, there is MAOU. Translated that portion loosely here:

"When the Korean version of Maou was broadcasted, the drama did not ( Read more... )

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. >=[

As a fan of the Korean version, I can say with complete confidence that Ohno is doing a fantastic job.

He's definitely not he same character as JJH (who I happen to adore as well), but he's so...AUUGH. NOT OHNO. It's fantastic. He's amazingly talented to completely change himself in the way that he has. And I've always thought Toma was a great actor. They're BOTH great. (I'm even ok with the overuse of the MAOU DEATH GLARE, just because of the music they play with it...when I heard it on the first episode, when he was looking at the pictures of Toma, I felt chills. O_O)

...The only part I sort of agree on is the female lead. T__T I mean, she's super cute, but I don't really feel anything for her at all. But she's also so young...Idk. She's doing a great job though. Just not quite up to what I was hoping for in terms of making the audience feel for her.

I have nothing against Toma but..."Ohno Satoshi, in terms of looks and popularity, is no match for Toma"

I can't believe she wrote that!
How rude!!!

I'm sure you'll receive your red envelope with tarot card inside soon! XD

ARGggggg, I'm united with you for this rant!!! Gosh, can't stand that she uses her bias to insult others who she doesn't favor. I love Ohno's acting, and Maou, and gosh that person makes me mad!

whoa... she is really harsh.. haha... poor ohno.. can you imagine if he reads this..someone in your face tells you you look terrible.. man..i don't even know what to say.. i loved the korean version and this Japanese one too.. strangely i felt that ohno's acting was better than toma.. hmm i want to know what the koreans think about this drama..haha and about the Maou glare.. its not ohno's fault.. the director tells him what to do at scenes..ahaha i think the problem about what she wrote is that she is being too personal..what did the other official TV mags in Japan write about Maou?

ahah i live in Singapore..but how come i never heard of that mag b4 ? ahha is it in chinese..oh wait..its a local mag ? if it is ..man ..so paiseh..but then again it will make sense of why the remarks were so tactless..Japanese mags will NEVER write that.
