As a fan of the Korean version, I can say with complete confidence that Ohno is doing a fantastic job.
He's definitely not he same character as JJH (who I happen to adore as well), but he's so...AUUGH. NOT OHNO. It's fantastic. He's amazingly talented to completely change himself in the way that he has. And I've always thought Toma was a great actor. They're BOTH great. (I'm even ok with the overuse of the MAOU DEATH GLARE, just because of the music they play with it...when I heard it on the first episode, when he was looking at the pictures of Toma, I felt chills. O_O)
...The only part I sort of agree on is the female lead. T__T I mean, she's super cute, but I don't really feel anything for her at all. But she's also so young...Idk. She's doing a great job though. Just not quite up to what I was hoping for in terms of making the audience feel for her.
