I think a community would be fine, especially since more and more people seem interested in reading J-webs. And like you said, other people can have a chance to contribute as well.
I don't know much about forums since I'm not part of any, so LJ would be my preferred site of choice.
A community would be good, but I'd prefer it if not everyone could post there, since the possibility of spam gets high. Maybe just you and possibly few others that would only post Arashi jwebs? Also I think there's a limit of how many friends you can have in a journal but there are no such limits to communities?
This is exactly what I was going to say, so I'll just reply here and second 15th_moon's suggestion. Also, if you needed help moderating/translating/whatever I can help :)
yes! I agree with hontowa ^^ a community will be good!!! And this came to my mind... since english is not really my mother language... (but I understand it xD) I was thinking maybe I could help you translate it to Spanish, because I know there are LOT of fangirls that speak Spanish and even though they know english, sometimes it's more understandable when you read it in your own language : P, so... I was just thinking that : D , an idea hehe. Anyways... I agree with the community it's a great idea!, and about the forums... hehe like 15th_moon said... they're kind of annoying haha
Hmm.Yay! Okay onto your other questions. Well, i think the best is for you to have a separate community for all your J-web stuff so you can add in more people and incorporate other stuff as well and keep this journal for your own thoughts and stuff that you want to flail about.:) If you're looking for volunteer? Will gladly help anyway I can.
I think an LJ comm would be lovely, as long as it's not additional trouble for you. Lots of Arashi contributors seem to be making them recently, and it looks like it works well. Forums are kind of foreign entities to me. ^_^;;
Don't worry about any inconvenience to us. If you feel that you'd prefer to handle everything in a community, go right ahead. You're the one putting in all the work to translate and share jweb entries with us, after all. I can see very easily how your flist would start to get daunting. I don't think anyone's going to fault you if you decide to move elsewhere. Just do whatever you feel most comfortable doing. :) (Also, if you're having difficulty finding a co-mod or you're uncertain about letting other people post, you could always restrict posting access until you're entirely settled and organized, and then open it up whenever you feel okay with it.)
