Title: Not So Secret

Summary: Reio finds out something that he already knew.

A/N: I wrote this drabble ages ago, in September last year I think, but for some reason I didn’t post it O_o
Anyway, I’m posting it now and I hope you’ll enjoy it :)
“Jin do you want to-?” Reio asked as he pushed the door to his big brother’s room opened but he cut his sentence short as he froze in the doorway at the sight in front of him for a second. He recovered fast though because he should’ve expected something like that. His brother might think they were good at hiding what they were but really they weren’t. Also Reio was not as stupid as his older brother so it hadn’t taken him long to figure it out.
“REIO!” Jin shrieked getting off the bed quickly and leaving a slightly dishevelled Kamenashi-kun behind. He rushed up to the door and tried to shove Reio out and close the door. “Haven’t I told you to knock before you enter my room when the door is closed?”
“But the door wasn’t closed!” Reio protested successfully holding back his brother’s sad attempt to get the door closed.
“Yes it was!” Jin replied still trying his best to get Reio to leave.
“It wasn’t” Reio argued feeling a bit offended because the door had not been closed. It had been ajar. Reio knew that he might not always be the best person in the world but he was not a liar. “And I came here for a reason”
“And what is that?” Jin asked, calming down a little and stopped trying to close the door in Reio’s face.
“I wanted to ask if you want to order take-out or if you want to go out to eat since mum and dad are away” Reio threw a glance over his brother’s shoulder to look at Kamenashi-kun. He seemed rather unbothered by this whole situation as he was lying on the bed. He had found a magazine to read and the only sign that he had been making out with Jin just a minute ago was his slightly swollen lips and ruffled hair.
“Take out. Definitely take out.” Jin said and mimicked Reio by looking over at Kamenashi-kun. “Kazu brought this movie over that we’re going to watch. I guess you can join us too if you want”
“As long as you two don’t start making out” Reio smirked suddenly finding the whole situation slightly hilarious. He had never walked in on his brother in that kind of situation before and he could probably use this to his advantage one way or another. Especially since Jin still was thinking that no one else knew about the true nature of his and Kamenashi-kun’s relationship.
“Of course we won’t” Kamenashi-kun replied without looking up from what he was reading. “The thought of doing something like that in front of anybody else wouldn’t even cross our minds. Right, Jin?”
“Riiiight” Jin said but didn’t sound convincing at all. He probably thought it’d be safe to make out in front of Reio now when he had found out.
“I said: Right, Jin?” Kamenashi-kun repeated sitting up and looked straight at Jin. Apparently he hadn’t been convinced by Jin’s answer either. He had a firm look on his face and Reio thought that if someone would ever look at him like that he wouldn’t have dared to go against the person.
“Yes, we would never even think about making out in front of other people” Jin replied this time before he turned his attention back to Reio. “You go and order the food and we will be down in a few minutes”
Reio just nodded before he stepped away from the door and let Jin close it. He had a big smirk on his face as he started to come up with ideas for how to best use this “new” information about his brother to his best advantage.

Kame looked at his mother with a bit of hesitation before he stepped into the living room to join his father on the couch. He threw his mother another glance and received an encouraging smile from her before she turned around and walked towards the kitchen. Kame took a deep breath.
“Dad?”
“Yes, what is it Kazuya?” his father asked as he lowered the volume on the TV where the news had just ended.
“There’s something I need to tell you” Kame said and sat down on the couch. “And it might be really shocking for you to hear this”
“Okay” His father gave him an inquiring look. “Does your mother know about what you’re about to tell me?”
Kame bit down on his lower lip nervously. “Yes”
“Okay, then go ahead” His father nodded. “If it hasn’t killed your mother than it surely can’t be that bad”
Kame closed his eyes and took another deep breath and then opened his eyes again to look his father straight in the eyes.
“Dad, I’m gay. I’m homosexual and I’m in a relationship with another guy”
His father didn’t show any sign of reaction at first and it made Kame feel more uncomfortable in the situation than he already was but his father broke the silence soon enough.
“Who?”
“What?” Kame blinked in confusion over the question.
“Who are you together with?” his father elaborated his question, his voice calm and collected.
“A-Akanishi-kun” Kame said stuttering a little over the name in his nervousness.
“And you’re really sure that you like Akanishi-kun?” his father continued with the questions.
“Yes, I like him a lot” Kame said sure of his feelings for his boyfriend. ”And I know he likes me just as much”
His father smiled gently at him and reached out to grab Kame’s right hand.
“Then I am happy for you” his father said and squeezed the hand softly.
“Really?” Kame was shocked over his father’s reaction to his out coming. He thought that his father would’ve been shocked and maybe having a hard time accepting it at first but then slowly getting used to the fact.
“Yes” his father was still smiling at him. “So, was that all or is it anything else you feel the need to get off your chest?”
“No” Kame smiled back.
“Good, then maybe you could be a good son and go and get me a beer.” He patted Kame’s hand softly a couple of times before he reached for the remote control to turn the volume up again. “There’s a boxing game starting soon”
“Sure” Kame got off the couch to get the beer but turned back around in the doorframe. “Dad?”
“Yes, Kazuya” His father turned to look at him.
“Thanks” Kazuya smiled.
“No thanks needed” His father waved him of but a shy smile still spread across his lips. “I’m your father, right? Now go and get me that beer”
Kame couldn’t help the chuckle making its way out as he walked away to obey his father’s request.

“You know you can talk to me about anything, right Yuichi-kun?” Koyama said letting his chopsticks rest over his bowl of ramen.
“Yeah I know” Yuichi replied giving him a soft, almost unnoticeable smile.
“So go on and tell me what it is that’s bothering you” Koyama prodded with an encouraging smile.
“Jin” Yuichi sighed.
“Akanishi-kun?” Koyama tilted his head in slight confusion. It had been over 6 month since the news about Akanishi leaving KAT-TUN to go solo and try his luck in America had come out. “I thought you’d-“
“And Kame” Yuichi interrupted Koyama with another sigh while dropping his own chopsticks into his bowl.
“Kamenashi-kun?” Koyama was only getting more confused.
“Yes, it seems like they’re on bad terms with each other’s again. Kame hasn’t mentioned Jin’s name even once this week and Jin didn’t ask me about if Kame had eaten properly during lunch when I spoke to him on the phone yesterday”
“And that’s unusual?” Koyama asked not really understanding Yuichi’s concern.
“It’s very unusual. It usually doesn’t go one day without Kame mentioning Jin. And Jin is always concerned about Kame’s eating habits ever since we found out he’d been underweight during Nobuta. He’s even more so now when he’s solo and sees Kame even less than before. This makes me worried they might’ve broken up again and-“
Yuichi’s speech was interrupted by the sound of an incoming message on Koyama’s phone.
“You can go ahead and read it” Yuichi sighed. “It could be something important”
Koyama nodded and reached for the phone in his bag.
“It’s from Yamapi. I should probably read it” Koyama said as he had his phone in his hand and read the message.
“I don’t think you have to worry about Akanishi-kun and Kamenashi-kun” Koyama smiled looking up from his phone a moment later. “They’re with Yamapi and Ryo-kun singing karaoke.”
“Eeeh?” Yuichi’s eyes grew with the surprise in his voice. “Really?”
“Yes, or Yamapi’s lying but why would he lie about something like that when he’s asking me if I want to join them?” Koyama started to type back a reply. “I guess they’re good again but we’re going to join them just to make sure and so that the worry wrinkles on your forehead disappears. They make you look less handsome “
It was with great amusement that Koyama saw the worry disappear from his friend’s face and a soft blush appeared to decorate his cheeks.
“Are you really sure he said that Kame and Jin is with him?” Yuichi asked a moment later when he had collected himself again and had started to eat his food.
“Yes, Yamapi said so in the message” Koyama fought back the urge to let out a big sigh or roll his eyes because that’s just something he never does, well almost never.
They fell silent again for another couple of minutes.
“I’m glad to hear that” Yuichi then suddenly mumbled and a smile spread over his face. “I’m really happy to hear they seem to be good again.”
“You really care a lot about your friends” Koyama smiled fondly and reached out to squeeze Yuichi’s free hand that was lying on the table. Yuichi blushed again as he turned his hand around so that they could intertwine their fingers.
