The other day offscreen and I were trying to figure out what a charity did based on their name and assumed it had to do with dental work for those who needed it and couldn't afford it. You're freaking me out, as this was the below the fold story yesterday in The Chronicle: Childhood dental problems epidemic
Study finds 71% of state's 3rd-graders have tooth decay
. I'll look around at school for this, was UCSF has a huge dental school and I know some people who work/go to school in the dental program. You're right, there's got to be some charity like this.

we have some around here for kids, I don't know of any that are specific to dental work for adults. I would call a dental school or a dentist's office-they would have probably worked with these charities, if they exist.

If there isn't a charity, I would donate to a dentist office that works with medi-Cal or takes payments. I'm sure they know of people who need the help.

you should donate to the IRF (international rhinocerous foundation.) It's sort of like donating to help kids take care of their teeth... only not really at all. I just like to help push the IRF on people.
