Wow. That was an interesting conversation. I think that you had some good points, however I agree with the other people too.

I agree with you that it is enough of the blame game...but I think a documentary is a good idea. A movie? NO. That is just for profit, but a documentary is for people to learn from. Honestly it is something I would want to watch because I still don't know everything that happened. And having a documentary on it...would help me to understand. Would I watch it just so I could feel pity for the people involved? NO. I would watch only to understand.

I agree that it's time to pick up the pieces and move on.

Now, I'm not going to go see the MOVIE on the twin towers, because that is just a movie. That is just to make profit off people's loss. It's not about understanding what happened. It's a drama...a movie.

Yeah, I know that a documentary and a movie are two different things, lol. I'm such a dork, I got myself so worked up remembering what life was like during that post, that I ended up crying for a few minutes. Uber-dork!

And for the record, no I don't want to see anything like that happen anywhere else. Yes, I think it should be prevented.

But I just want to say one more time that there are people out there who are going to watch it to feel like they can connect with people who lived through it. They're going to watch it to feed their own need to feel something. That doesn't mean I don't think people should watch it, I just don't want to hear from people who say "I watched it, and it was like living it."

Oye, sometimes I'm a horrible communicator. Thanks for taking the time to link to it and read it though. And thanks for the reply.

Oh, I never doubted you knew the difference between the two. lol. It just makes me mad that people would make a movie about the Twin Towers...to make profit...grrrr. I mean, seriously. Haven't those people lived through enough, to then see a movie about that misery? It's not like it's something to learn from...it's just entertainment.

I totally understand where you are coming from. And it must have been an extremely horrible experience. And yeah, I definitely see people watching it and being like "omg! I totally know how they feel..and blah blah blah." Those are the type of people who the documentary WASN'T made for..lol.

Hey..there is nothing wrong with starting to cry a little. You went through something completely horrific. And I'm sure that post brought up so many bad memories for you.
