A raccoon in my backyard and Grandma Sturm on my couch

Yeah, we saw a raccoon in the backyard last night. Thank goodness we saw it before Maggie (the dog) did. In my almost 40 year history of living in this house I don't think a raccoon has ever been spotted in our backyard. We've had tons of rabbits, squirrels, voles, opossums, a few groundhogs... and even a big white wolf looking dog that used to hop

Yup, I guess I did!! Eek!

In the dream there was nothing at all weird about her being here. It wasn't like, "No, you can't have the guestroom... because you're DEAD!!!" We just really didn't want to give up the space. Hee!

I felt bad enough about that. Then I woke up, and yeah, the whole GHOST thing. Ack.

That's what I get for watching too much Ghost Hunters before bed.

At least Mercy will be glad I didn't let a dead person stay in "her room". *g*

I had a way-too-similar dream after my grandma died (I was 15/16). I dreamed I came downstairs and she was sitting in the living room. I'd freaked out because we'd -- you know -- buried her and she'd had to crawl out of her grave Buffy style. She said not to worry about it, that she was alive.

I took it as a good dream, myself.
