So, I haven't been on livejournal for a long time, and I haven't come home to Cary in months. This is because of my new addiction: Perfect World International. It is similar to World of Warcraft, but lacks the monthly fee, so I can play it in my unemployed state. I started playing soon after the game opened to the public on September 2nd and

Heh, a free MMORPG.
Does the game support itself on microtransactions like others before it?

It has a cash shop so you can charge money and buy little things that make the game a little bit better. ^_^ Of course, there's always a plethora of people selling these items for in-game money as well, so there's no reason to *have* to charge money. :) In 4 months, I've put $40 in to it that my mom gave me, so not expensive at all.
