haylee i think you took it too personally the whole point of that project was to have a debate, to see how much everyone knows about how society works. ms. chalmers is an awesome teacher. who would you rather have? you can complain about her not marking our papers, but look at how much homework we get. fuck, we never get homework. shes a nice lady, and she has a good way of teaching the class. would you rather have ms. browne and be piled with grammar sheets every night, and treated like youre still in kindergarten? well fuck, if you do then go ahead and just switch out. ms. chalmers teaches english in a way that you can get involved and relate what you're learning to your own philosophy on life. nobody was tearing you down about your utopian society. they were just making points and trying to figure out if it would actually work. they did the same thing to me, it's not like i cared. i don't fucking know everything about the government or economics and nobody expects me to either. i dont know. don't be so hostile.
First off, thanks for your opinion. It is obvious that you like ms. chalmers. Ok, that's fine - I'm sure I have people in my life that I adore and you don't really like. And I can see me responding to an entry you wrote about such a person in the same way. However, I think the part you missed is that I couldn't deal with the way the class was behaving and how the teacher allowed them to behave. Also, I noticed some of the questions that were asked of you were positive. Like, someone would as for clarification on a point, and you would clarify, and they would say "oh. well that's a really good idea". I didn't feel like I got any of that. Nobody asked me a question and followed it with "wow, that was really insightful. I think that would be a great society
