It doesn't. But it's the only word I could think of that described the day in an overarching sense, unless you know a word that ties up stressful and anxious that starts with the letter i.

I think it's a foreshadowing of how Jack ends up when drunk :D

In the sense that I had multiple epiphanies throughout the day. It was an very epiphanous day, most of which weren't good.
