Friends doing such things is very very normal, not that it helps the situation, but I have a friend who routinely ditches me for her new significant other. It's happened over and over through our whole relationship, and we've been friends for about nine years. I have just adjusted to this quirk, not really much else to be done, I guess. I just find someone else to hang with while she's making moon eyes at her new boy of the month.

I still think it's way twisted and really dysfunctional to be that sucked into another person, but people do what they do.

I agree, and i'll be the first to say that im very emotional, doesnt tale much to spike (mmm spike) my hurt and being ditched kinda, hits a few memories ive been trying to hide.
