Anime Matsuri 2012!
Back with a somewhat.. con report for this year's Anime Matsuri in Texas! \O/ Had lots of fun, although I got there on Saturday (April 7th) and not on the Friday that it started. My brothers did, though, since they entered Texas Showdown 2012 for the BlazBlue tournament. One of my brothers got 4th, I think? 8D Anyway, onto pics!

This year's badge- pretty nice! Can't quite remember what the theme was, but it's cool, so whatever. XD
Of course I hit up the dealer's room first because I like to spend my money on cute anime things. 8( I didn't buy much in the end, but I'm still happy with what I managed to find! I tend to be pretty picky on what I spend on, LOL. Looking for specific series and stuff, too, just in case. ;w;
Just a few things that I got. A tofu phone charm, Guilty Crown (SHUUUUUU ♥) keychain, and a cute 8-bit hairclip from someone in the artist's alley! \O/ SO CUTE. idk where to put the tofu thing yet, but Shu is currently chillin' on my camera, hahaha. 8-bit hairclip is on my head right now, lol.
Picked up a bunch of cards and stuff since stores and artists had them out for the taking. Ughhh, I wanted to buy something SO BADLY from BTSSB/Alice and the Pirates since they were special guests for this year's con, but of course branded lolita stuff is expensive and I couldn't bring myself to drop $50 on an alice bow. T___T ONE DAY, SELF.
This artist was seriously my favorite out of the entire artist's alley this year. JUST LOOK AT HER STUFF OHGOD. It's gorgeous!! It was hard choosing what to buy, but I ended up getting her illustrations book and a lens cleaner (because hey, I wear glasses and what better way to clean them than with hot men r o f l).

The teriyaki chicken, chow mein, and shrimp fried rice that I had for lunch on Saturday, lol. TAKING PICS OF FOOD IS YUM.
Was sitting around with one of our friends in the gaming area, so we took a pic of all of our LG Dlite phones, LOL. My brother's is the blue on the left, mine in the middle, and our friend Sesame's is on the right. 8D
ANYWAY. Onto cosplay pics! Some people that I happened to like b/c they were either well done (or I just liked them lol), rare to see walking around or.. both? rofl.
I was REALLY surprised to see an Inga walking around! Didn't expect anyone to be doing Un-Go cosplay, so this was a plesant surprise. ♥ Sadly no Shinjuurou. ;w;
These two were ridic cute. Fem!Barnaby and Fem!Kotetsu from Tiger & Bunny, LOL.
Kurisu and Mayuri from Steins;Gate~! So happy to see someone cosplaying them. \O/ No Okarin here, though. Aww.
Strangely not a lot of Persona 4 going around? Saw this one Souji/Yu walking around and decided to take his pic, lol. His friend was wearing a Steins shirt. I WANT IT. EL PSY CONGROO OKAY. The back had some text and then the divergence meter. 8D

Another pleasant surprise to see! Yuno from Mirai Nikkiiiiiii. *___* No Yukki in sight, but I DID keep running into her throughout the convention, LOL. SO STRANGE.
Mandatory Madoka cosplay because it's all the rage, of course. She was cute, though! *w*
Eee, Killua! Nice to see some Hunter people walking around. Also saw a random Kurapika, but didn't get to take their pic. And oh, Kurisu, making my fandoms collide by walking in the back, hahaha.
So L is an over-cosplayed character due to the ease that it can be done, BUT.. it's hard to do well, haha. Although this one had shoes on (I don't blame them, okay, walking around all day) but they were so, so cute. T____T Really tall, too, hahaha. But seriously! I thought they were going to stand for the photo, but all of sudden they just crouched down, LOL. It scared me for a bit, but I had to crouch as well to take this pic. XDDD
People tend to like cosplaying Catherine, don't they? 8D I don't mind! Loved her, she was amazing. ♥ One day, I'd love to see both Catherine AND Katherine, haha. Maybe with a Vincent, too? ;p
This Rin from Ao no Exorcist was greaaaat. \O/ The blue 'flames' actually lit up and stuff- so, so cool. *___*
Happy to see some BlazBlue cosplay this weekend! A RACHEL. ♥ Glad to have spotted her today before I left. So well-done!
o m g this Carl. SHE WAS PERFECT. T___T She actually had an Ada (Nee-san lol) walking around with her, but I could never find her! And they were always separated. But still, loved her outfit and she looks perfect as Carl. ;A;
Spotted Yaya Han (a guest cosplayer for the con this year) in the dealer's room. She was selling some stuff. She makes an amazing Litchi (because for srs, she has the boobs for it). She's really nice, actually~

My family and I also went shopping in Houston's Asian malls for bit before heading home. TOTALLY BOUGHT THE MOST AMAZING PEN OMG. Look how cute it is!! TOT ♥ Definitely using for school or something, LOL. Obnoxious, but idec it's adorable. Also bought bubble tea because it's delicious and easier to find in Houston. ;~;
Thanks for looking if you've made it to the very end from start to finish! I've been gone forever and have been so, so busy with school, but.. I at least made some time to update with this? T_T Shiny pics and things? Back to work after today, though- I have unfinished homework that.. y'know, needs to be done before Tuesday. Have the day off tomorrow for Easter Monday. WORKWORKWORK.
