August is a weird month for me - my mother and my nephew both died in August. Now add to that my former brother-in-law (who wasn't exactly a class act but he did leave me with two great nieces) and the ensuing three hour phone call from my youngest niece who is so drunk and drugged-out and, of course, bawling so hard that I can't understand her and ( Read more... )

*hugs* September is my dreaded month, and I have my birthday smack-bang in the middle of it. It's hard sometimes to be happy on that day when there's a lot of heartache already flying around. But you know what? We've been dealing with it, so I guess we'll just deal with it a little more. :)

Oh, and sell your books to me! I'm trying to get my sister to leave home so I can move into her room and turn my bedroom into a library. Seriously.

It would be easier to Yard Sale the books dear.

Ok, hair is Short, but what color is it?

I was married in August too, didn't turn out too well. I think Halloween is a good idea for a Do Over. And this time you can only invite people you want, not wierd relations just to make your families happy.

I have a hole in the crotch of my jeans. *ack* Not sure if Herb's puppy chewed it or my ass finally got so big I split them with my width.

PS, I've sort of missed you lately, will send email about dark depressing crossroads in life.

Oh, I'm really sorry. I have a month like that, too, and it bites.

I used to sell used books all over the 'net, including Amazon, although I lised on there through Abebooks, which you can't do anymore. I think Amazon's fees are pretty high (dollar a book?), but the orders from there were pretty steady. If they haven't shut down Half.com yet, they were free to list and then they just took a percentage after the book sold. And there's always eBay.

I got tired of it after awhile -- people are jerks all over, a few books that didn't arrive, stuff like that, and decided it wasn't worth the trouble.
