Random - S to the PICY!

Random Thing One: I am so easily amused - I don't know who sees the hysterical Sonic commercials with the two dudes selling hamburgers and breakfast burritos, but the latest one that I've heard only on the radio is the best yet.

Dude 1: This (whatever spicy new hamburger or something) is awesome.
Dude 2: It's S to the PICY!
Dude 1: What?
Dude 2: It's S ( Read more... )

I liked Devil in the White City - I had no idea that that's what the Ferris Wheel was invented for. Some of the pacing was a little slow, but overall it was a good book.

I highly recommend (not that you're looking for recs, but hey, why not?) Lincoln by Gore Vidal if you're into historical novels. It's fictionalized to a point, but I don't think many of the details were. He cribbed from Lincoln's secretary's journals. Fantastic. I couldn't put it down.

I heart you. And am also crap about replying to topical things because I am SO behind.

I also hate every single pairing abbreviation that has ever been. It started with Spander. *Hates, OMG* and I never, ever want to see any cutesy abbeviations ever. Just tell me who you are writing about, PLEASE.

/cranky.

Jack and Sawyer, YAY!

Oh God my ex was in love with Devil in the White City! He was like totally obsessed reccin' that book.

But it was good, I have to admit, even though I'm not so great on non-fiction. The World's fair chapters (especially at the beginning) bored me to tears. But I was very glad I read it in the end.
