Oh how cool! I wish I had learned to play a musical instrument when I was younger.

I also know someone who is just not interested in music, has like no opinions about it or interest in listening to it and it boggles my mind.

Hehe, that's interesting to know. I like that concept and I should imagine that a week wouldn't be enough. It sounds like a great opportunity to learn new skills, find new interests, meet new people and learn about your heritage in a hands on way. Exellent! :)

*points to my icon* That sums up my response to your question, no it's not just you! As much as I love telly, the one thing I could never live without is music. I have it on in the background whatever I'm doing, whether it's cleaning, on the laptop, out with the dog or washing up...which obviously includes dancing around the kitchen! ;) P!nk tends to be my choice for the dancing, otherwise anything I can sing along to. I'm going to be doing a very overdue post about music that dante_s_hell asked me back in December, so I won't hijack your entry and wax lyrical! Ha, unintentional pun! :p
