Going for a 'few quiet pints' in Ireland, is nothing like. And I don't remember the last time I had such a mad, mad, night. As a result, i've ended up pissing away the day in bed and not waking up until 3pm. Well. I probably needed the sleep after the jet lag and all of that ( Read more... )

I could have told you that about Aer Lingus. At least your flight with them wasn't as long as mine. Seven hours of trying to sleep, but not being able to because there was absolutely no possible way to get comfortable. I got off the flight with a completely red, tired looking face. I looked like I'd been kicked by a mule ten times. I'm not looking forward to the flight back home.

No, there must be hundreds of John Mc Dermotts in Ireland! I'm related to some based on the Roscommon / Mayo border, although some of these have strayed as far afield as England and the US!

this john mc dermott was from roscommon. but he's been living in new york for the last 20 years. he still flies home about 6 times a year. except for the homophobia.. he was quite nice.
