Did you take any photos? Man, that would have a totally different feeling being there and actually seeing these things!

i'm going to update shortly here anyway but..i was going to take photos. had it all planned out and everything but once I got on the road and saw all that stuff on the walls it just didn't seem like a tourist thing to do.. i mean.. these are people's lives and stuff. i only got 1 photo from the car park looking across to west belfast and a protestant area called the 'sandy row'. the mural says something like, 'you are now entering loyalist belfast' and there's a guy with a bomber jacket and a ski mask and an AK47. So as soon as I get the film developed you'll have some idea how unbearably uncomforable it was being there.

eeek. I bet it would be uncomfortable being rather afraid to know how to act etc.
