They're closing the campus today at 4:30 pm CST. They're advising anybody who can get out, to get out. They are also advising us to turn off our compys. Well, we're under an inland hurricane watch/warning/something now. Schiesse. We still have school tomorrow, which is a real bummer. Every single college south of here has off. I feel like I'm trapped in some sort of sadistic disaster movie. My blood pressure is up again; I can taste it in my throat.
And what does Mr. President think? "This is a big storm." No duh.
As of right now, we still have class tomorrow. I'll keep everyone posted. -

I guess I should tell everyone this now so I don't keep on having to use "My house still exists!" as a greeting. Yes, my house still exists. We only have one tree down, but unfortunately it was on the connecting power lines to my house, so my parents are without power. I made the happiest phone call of my life this morning. It feels so good to be able to tell my parents to go home. As I write this, they are on their way back home.
