I’M FINALLY DONE WITH MY SUMMER PLACEMENT!

I have been anticipating this day since the first day I started my summer placement! It’s not so much that I dislike working with the kids there or anything, but I just hate all the work I have to do. All the cleaning (actually, I don’t mind the cleaning that much), all the paper work, assignments, ( Read more... )

i am so proud of you for completing your placement~ and your attitude towards it is A+++ ♥♥ i'm glad you got to build good relationships with the kids! and you accomplished so much! wahhh!!!~ that's what counts :)

and omg, that video of that girl's room...
her christmas tree, omg.
comparing her room to my room, my room's just a total garbage dump with just random posters here and there with nothing better to see LOOOOL;;;
oh geez;; if i ever have the patience and time, i'll definitely try to make my room prettier (but since i'm renting a place right now..i dunno if i'll ever do it LOL)

wahhh i have 3 weeks of summer left too! And mine just started too XDD we're on the same track ;D
i have so much catching up to do with friends~ and omg, dramas & anime LOL~!!

Haha, it's all about the attitude and energy when I'm in placement because sometimes those teachers can be such a pain in the butt! (And not to mention all the assignments I have to do is brutal too) But in the end it's actually quite satisfying and accomplishing and I do really learn a lot in placement. I just don't know if I have enough confidence and skills to do well in my next placement because it just gets harder and harder! =(

That girl has the most pretty room I've ever seen in my life! But I totally know what you mean about having patience and time to decorate your room. I think there's also the expense you have to consider as well. It seems like this girl's mom didn't spend so much on decorating her room though, since most of the stuff were handmade and the furniture actually look old and like she said the bed was just repainted. Her mom is very smart and talented!

Really? I hope you enjoy your 3 weeks of summer too! Make the best out it and have lots of funn! =D

ahahahaha, your first paragraph. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. that was me two summers ago when i was a summer camp counsellor. there are maybe 2 or 3 kids who are effing adorable, you just want to take them home, but then there are the rest who are so annoying and create utter hell for you. D: i got so nervous interacting with parents too. especially the bad ones. i feel so bad all the time telling them that yeah, your kid misbehaves at camp. =/

Well, for me it wasn't so much that I had to tell the parents about their kids misbehaving, but it was more of just what they did and if they had a good day or not. But it is very intimidating to talk to parents and I was lucky because I didn't have any "bad" parents. They were actually all pretty nice and easy going!

Congrats to finishing another placement ne~! (≧∇≦)b
Just forget about all the unhappy things and move on!

That room is AMAZING! That girl has a cool mom indeed! Having said that, I would rather to have a cool room than a girly room myself. (*^_^*)

Yup, I'm trying to forget about all the negative comments she said to me and just believe and trust myself that I CAN do better! =)

Haha, I want a cool room too. Her room is very pretty but a bit too girly and pink for me. XD As as I said, I wouldn't want my actual room to be like that, but it's good to have a closet room like that where I get dressed and do my makeup. lol.

It's not my style either. Well, it's a bit too girly and pink for a ROOM, but I definitely wouldn't mind it if it was just a room for me to do my makeup and get dressed up.

Agree! Only cauasian parents would spoil their children like that. My mom would probably start complaning and screaming at me for buying useless stuff like that to decorate my room. =( Yeah, she's pretty too! =)
