My prediction for 2009: I'm finally going to cave and watch Merlin. That video diary was kind of fantastic. And hee, I saw that ATP Christmas video last week! So hilariously cute.

Really, your whole list is pretty awesome. :D I agree about Donna -- she was amazing, and for me, her end was so, SO much sadder than Doomsday. At least Rose still had all her incredible memories of what she and the Doctor had done, right? (And honestly, Doomsday didn't even make me that sad. At least it didn't freaking devastate me like Journey's End.)

And Jal and Chris were definitely one of my favorite couples, too. Reading Jal's speech about Chris almost made me cry again!

The ATP video arrived in my email inbox and made me smile so much. I even smiled at Andy Murray! Miracles can happen!

Yes, watch Merlin! It's fairly cheesy and predictable with such bad CGI that you have to laugh (staples of the BBC) but it has so much heart and it's crazy fun. All the behind the scenes stuff is wonderful though. Bradley James in particular just cracks me up.

Donna's end devestated me. It was awful. Doomsday did make me sad, but I'm fairly sure that was partly down to the emotive music. I always wanted Rose to move on from the Doctor anyway, the fact that she didn't is also slightly tragic. I don't think I'm ever getting over Donna's ending though. In my mind it never happened, and she's off saving Planet Earth without the help of the Doctor.

I was in tears rewatching all the Jal/Chris stuff on Youtube. Those last two episodes were so tragic, gah!

HAPPY NEW YEAR :D

EPIC! <3333 Much love to Gossip Girl (Chuck/Blair snark is total win), The Office, and Pushing Daisies. And Dr. Horrible FTW!

Oh, and Obama, gotta have Obama. ♥ this is great.

Oh right, and Privileged is adorable and totally overlooked. Right and Donna, LOVE Donna.

Hee, thank you! I actually prefer Chuck and Blair bitching to each other to them making out. SNARK FTW! Privileged is totally overlooked. It's because of the cheesy concept but still!

Thank you for commenting and adding to the Donna and Obama love (totally the best things to come out of 2008)!

There are so many fabulous things on this list but I just adore you for your nod to Donna!! She is by far the best new character of 2008 (and possibly my new favourite character of all time). I just adored her beyond words and it still kills me what they did to her. I can't even talk about it. It makes me so sad.
