Started and finished my 1610s wool doublet! Finally! After 3 years of the fabric sitting in my stash! I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Okay, it's not done. I still have to do hooks and eyes down the front. But I needed it this past Saturday for the Carlisle AHEC event.
The doublet is interlined, boned, and padded, going off of Kass McGann's recent doublet construction, based on Janet Arnold's pattern from originals. But the actual pattern I used was from Tudor Tailor. So, doublet with skirts, shoulder rolls, and high collar.

Still trying to finish Andy's 1740s linen waistcoat. Did all the buttonholes yesterday at work in the rainy weather. Gotta throw on the buttons, sew up the shoulder seams, and then sew up the side seams. AND, cut out and sew on the pocket flaps because I forgot to earlier.

NEXT: I have some general mending to do, but then I've got until the end of June to make a new 1810s dress for a big event. Got a pretty awesome repro cotton print. Unsure what pattern I want to use.
