Righty-o! Thanks to the time period changes at the museum, all the 1690s stuff got knocked off my list of things to make, and I had to make, and help co-workers make, a whole slew of 1630s things. I got so busy this year, and had so little sewing motivation after all that insanity hit at the beginning, that I really don't feel like I made much. I also re-designated some of my fabrics, and STILL haven't been able to get that blasted purple linen to turn brown.

For 2013, I'll be in 1730s-40s land at work a lot, so I'll be wanting to do a lot more of those this year. I'm also in 1630s England once a week, so I'm going to need to do a wool jacket this winter.

Sewing Goals for 2013:
-1630s low-necked shift
-1630s dark purple wool jacket
-1630s teal blue wool jacket (light weight)
-1630s falling band collar
-1630s linen coif
-new 18th C stays
-2 18th C shifts
-18th C style chocolate brown wool petticoat
-18th C style charcoal grey wool petticoat
-18th C style tobacco brown wool petticoat
-1740s linsey-woolsey bedgown
-1740s tobacco brown wool gown
-1740s god-help-me-it-will-dye-brown-this-year linen gown
-1810s purple sheer cotton gown (Norah Waugh)
-1810s or 1820s chemisette
-1820s purple striped summer cotton gown
-1820s funky cotton print gown
-1840s mauve/purple cotton print
-1850s red/brown cotton print
-1850s sage wool plaid gown
-1860s brown/olive cotton plaid work dress (formerly was 1840s-50s)
-1850s/60s brown wool coat, mink-trimmed
-2 new chemises
-knit Victorian under-petticoat.

Would be nice to also do:
-The curtain-along! A 1740s cotton print dress or bedgown, maybe?
-The rest of the 1870s purple changeable silk
-1740s cream wool bedgown, from the 'Return from the Market' painting
-concept design for my 18th C silk quilted petticoat
-1820s wool spencer coat
-1740s new linen jacket

Work Sewing:
-On plate for the costume shop, we'll be doing a MASSIVE shirt and shift run. As many of them as we can cut out and make. We're talking 30-40 shirts and shifts or more.
-Summer camp clothing, will be remaking the boys' breeches. And adding maybe short gowns, kerchiefs, or caps for the girls clothing. Maybe adding waistcoats to the boys, but will argue against it. Too many buttons and buttonholes.
-Help Lauren with an 1820s dress, and Eryn with an 1850s dress, unless they are switched to a new farm.
-Get Andy started on some doublets for the male English farm staff.
-Get Sally started on her "Sally Blue" 1630s wool jacket, and on her 1630s sheer blue wool jacket too.

The overall goal is to not let all the mass amounts of winter sewing for summer camps and the shirt run to overwhelm me and lose my motivation to keep sewing throughout the rest of the year. Will make somewhat of an effort to upload photos of my sewing
