It reads really well except the yo and loop bits sound a bit confusing but I think that will make sense when I get up to that part in practice :D
I know you said you don't know the yarn you used but can you say vague things about it? Like maybe it's alpaca wool or cotton or smth...or um...the thickness? The thickness of the yarn would affect how it turns out, right? And maybe affects the the process as well? I don't know much about fibres either so a general suggestion would be good but I can always just get frisky with the yarn in Lintcraft ;)
But this is great...the pictures are so helpful, like a pro manual.

I probably should've just said that in the first place...
I know I have the label somewhere (I don't throw them out). It was a Patons brand from Lincraft. I think it may have been called Smoothie or something. It's just acrylic. I'll have a look again tomorrow and amend the pattern if I find it.
