Calling all computer geeks

My computer at home won't play CBS.com or Fox.com and some Youtube.com videos. It says something about "ad blocker is turned on" or "Flash needs to be installed" or "java script must be enabled." All of which are enabled or installed or turned off. *shrugs* It is driving me insane ( Read more... )

That is weird, I was going to suggest using the other one. You can try chrome http://www.google.com/chrome and see if that helps...but it sounds like it is something else.

For anti-virus I use avg free. I don't use spyware/malware tools at home but at work I can with malwarebytes.

We use Malewarebytes here at work too. Hmm...this is driving me batty. I will try the chrome. I hope it isn't a virius. grr..

What browser are you using? I found that a lot of those players will futz up if I'm not using Firefox.

I've been having issues with videos not working either - but for me, it's just the sound and I think it's something I messed up...oi.

I second Malaware and I've also used/liked AdAware - there's a free version you can download on their site.

I also have Norton installed on my computer.
