Oh dear. When I agreed on helping out at the hospital wing for extra credits, I never expected something like this to happen. Well, I doubt anyone expected it, but that's beside the point. Making the particular potions we need for this is actually rather fun (or at least it was four hours ago), but some of the patients are a bit difficult. Cad, for ( Read more... )

He kept making my Potions class drink Pepper Up to avoid it. And then the amount of Pepper Up I consumed had some weird side effects.

He's mad. Completely bonkers.

Yeah, I've heard. And now one of the fourth-years has told me that she's seen him fall face-down somewhere, but when I went to check it out he was gone. Still, it doesn't look like taking Pepper Up has worked on him.

And now we're out of a Potions teacher, and the Potions assistant is MIA. And there's nobody else around who can help me and Pomfrey brew things. Merlin help me.

I knew there was a reason I suddenly had about twice as many papers to mark the last two days. He gave some flimsy reasoning about research... but perhaps it was more researching his pillow and blanket, from the looks of it. All right then. I'll stay in the Dungeons away from all the sick people and you stay in the hospital wing, and when you run out of stuff, let me know what you need so I can make it.

Oh dear I'm going to have to talk to McGonagall about this...

Well, the reason for his odd behaviour of late was partly for fear of getting sick. He seems to have made the Slytherins drink Pepper Up until the classroom was filled with smoke (which explains the smell). But, as we can see, his plan failed.

I will. Luckily there's still enough stuff for now, but we'll let you know as soon as we run out of something.

Private to Eddie:
Oh, and a word of warning: McGonagall is sick as well, and seems to be really grumpy about it, so you better avoid her. Flitwick is taking over as acting headmaster for the time being.

I had noticed he'd been asking for a lot of Pepper Up Potions lately, but didn't really think anything of it.

Private to Su

Thanks for the heads up, Su. I'll be sure to ask Flitwick for help in regards to getting at least one other person to help with teaching Potions.

Have you tried pretending to be Ginny Weasley?

It might stop him from trying to hit you...

I tried pretending to be a lot of people (and several non-human things as well) but it's no use. I'm stuck with being a bludger.

And, now that you mention it, he seems to be trying to throw me to Ginny. Must be the feverish beater's equivalent to those small boys who like to pull the pigtails of the girls they fancy.

How about giving him a copy of Quidditch Through The Ages?

I'm sorry. But since you're my wife (well, at least according to Ernie and Parvati and Jane Austen) would that be classed as domestic violence?

Possibly. But then again, since you've been trying to aim at my bottom, it could also have a totally different interpretation - and one that is generally considered as okay when it comes to husband and wife. Nevertheless, ow.

Darling, if I'm the Royal Chocolatier, then I'm afraid there's not going to be enough chocolate for the Queen...
