Typically daft column by Miranda Devine. Her thesis is that cyclists are the most dangerous people on the roads - which, if not already risible enough, she illustrates with an anecdote about the confrontation between a bike and a bus (never mind that the conduct of the rogue cyclist has anyhow been rebuked by cycling representatives). I would like you to know that during a conversation at university with some of my fellow philosophy students, the issues of how shit newspaper columnists are came up. This entry gave me the conversational ammunition to appear culturally aware, well-read and -informed, socially capable and generally a cool guy.
